Human Planet.

Oh my gosh. I was traveling last month and while lying in bed casually trying to find something to fall asleep to I came across a new documentary by the BBC called Human Planet. If you thought Planet Earth was epic, you’ll love this. An 8-Part series featuring a stills photographer (Timothy Allen) who simultaneously documented the entire serious in still shots for a book that will accompany the series.  I watched he sixth episode of the series called “Roots of Power” which included a portion on the Donga stick fights by the Suri tribesman in Ethiopia. The visual power of the series makes doing the imagery justice through descriptors a nearly impossible task. Watch the trailer below.
