Namibian shoe company Schier Shoes collaborated this week with Opening Ceremony to create a limited release collection of their Vellies stateside. The shoes, worn by just about everyone in Namibia, are the original “desert boot”. They are made in a small workshop of eight gentlemen who turn out just a little under 20 pairs a day.
