Doug Rickard

Photographer Doug Rickard spent two years scouring Google Street View for images of the unseen America, starting in Detroit. Moving through Street View, Rickard looked for compositions featuring vivid colors and compositions and repurposed the technology to give the viewer a new way of looking at what is right in front of our eyes. The haunting collection is the subject of the new limited edition book “A New American Picture”.
