Kris Kuksi

Oh wow, oh wow. These baroque works by Missouri artist Kris Kuksi  are spectacular. Each shrine is composed using plastic soldiers, towering spires and other sorted debris to create a dramatic, material conflict. Grotesque mausoleums, a denial of all that is frivolous. These pieces are wildly conscious of humanity and yet, at the same time, devoid of it.
